WWE possibly punishing Bron Breakker with Monday Night RAW booking, claims former employee (Exclusive)
Former WWE head writer Vince Russo was irate with the company this week for ending Bron Breakker's title reign. The star lost the gold to Jey Uso in a singles match.
Uso put in a stellar performance against the formidable Breakker on RAW. He took down Bron with a couple of Spears and a Uso Splash, winning a singles title for the first time in his WWE career.
This week on Legion of RAW, Russo felt Bron needed the title for a longer reign to help him gain credibility. He was sure that Breakker had done something that offended the people behind the scenes, leading to his shortened title run.
The former WWE employee expressed frustration, stating that the booking decision barely made sense.
"They needed to build Bron Breakker. They needed to leave a title on him. I don't even... I'm not guessing; I know he put some kind of heat on himself, and they had to take the belt off him to teach him and make sure he knows who's boss. That booking decision makes zero sense," Russo said. [From 4:57 onwards]
Bron Breakker's booking on the main roster has been unpredictable of late. While he lost to Sami Zayn at Money in the Bank, he won the rematch at SummerSlam, winning the IC Title.
It will be interesting to see how the second-generation superstar recovers from this sudden loss on RAW this week.
