WWE putting major championship on 34-year-old star would turn the world upside down, says Magnum T.A.
A 34-year-old WWE Superstar will fight for his first championship on the main roster this Saturday at Survivor Series. Wrestling veteran Magnum T.A. claimed the mentioned star winning the title would turn the world upside down.
Bron Breakker captured the Intercontinental Championship after beating Jey Uso on Monday Night RAW a few weeks ago. The second-generation superstar will now defend the title against Sheamus and Ludwig Kaiser at Survivor Series this Saturday. On the Straight Talk with The Boss podcast, Magnum T.A. predicted that Breakker would probably retain the title.
However, the 65-year-old pointed out that the company, creatively led by Triple H, putting the Intercontinental Championship on Kaiser would "turn the world upside down."
"I think he [Breakker] probably will [retain the title]. But if they were wanting to turn the world upside down, they'd put it on Ludwig," he said. [49:45 - 49:51]
Former WWE manager thinks Ludwig Kaiser could be a great heel
On an episode of his Story Time with Dutch Mantell podcast, the former WWE manager discussed Ludwig Kaiser's run in the Stamford-based company. The wrestling veteran pointed out that the 34-year-old was a good worker.
Meanwhile, the 74-year-old claimed Kaiser could be a great heel if Triple H gave him a significant push:
"[Ludwig] Kaiser, I think he's a good enough heel and a good enough worker and snobby enough to make a lot of people hate him. I don't know how far he'll go, but judging from Triple H, if he put him in a story and kind of pushed him a little bit and got behind him a little bit, I think he could be a great, great heel," Mantell said.
Since joining WWE in 2017, Kaiser has held the NXT Tag Team Championship twice. It will be interesting to see if he can win his third title at Survivor Series.
