WWE questions Dominik Mysterio's true intentions behind risky move on RAW

Dominik Mysterio had an eventful Monday night this week on WWE RAW. However, not everything appears to be black and white for the young star. He inadvertently helped Women's World Champion Liv Morgan keep her belt during her title defense against Latino World Order's Zelina Vega.

WWE did not know what to make of Dom's self-described move to help Vega. He slid a steel chair into the ring, but it backfired as the LWO star used it on him instead, only for Morgan to take advantage of the opportunity and score the winning pinfall.

She later tried to celebrate with "Dirty" Dom as he stormed out of the arena but Cathy Kelley interrupted her. The Women's World Champion claimed that she dedicates every win to her "Daddy Dominik," who is the "most gorgeous man in WWE," and subsequently walked to the back.

"That didn’t go as planned… or did it, @dominik_35? 👀😬 #WWERaw," WWE captioned their Instagram post below.

Later on in the night, Rey Mysterio once again taught his son a lesson about focus after "Dirty" Dom was thoroughly distracted by Liv Morgan's presence. The latter's involvement ultimately stirred controversy among The Judgment Day.

Rey Mysterio comments on another possible Custody match in WWE involving his son two decades later

At SummerSlam 2005, Rey Mysterio and the late Eddie Guerrero capped off their months-long rivalry with a Custody for Dominik Mysterio Ladder Match. The bout was won by The Master of 619.

Looking at one of the hottest angles on RAW this year featuring Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley with "Dirty" Dom at the center of it all, Chris Van Vliet on INSIGHT asked his guest Rey whether another Custody match will happen.

Here's what the Hall of Famer had to say:

"I always ask myself this question. And I like to every now and then kind of just let my brain wander off. If Eddie would still be here in this scenario, with Dom being who he is now, I can’t even imagine the kind of pleasure we would bring to the ring, to the audience of being able to see Dom, Eddie and myself. You know, it’d be such a cool moment, man. And I do think about that a lot," Mysterio said.

World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest informed Dom that he had a call with Rhea Ripley this week on RAW. The Archer of Infamy stated that Ripley is not happy with what is happening between the former NXT North American Champion and Morgan. It remains to be seen when The Nightmare gets cleared for an in-ring return.
