WWE RAW sees embarrassing multi-person botch involving Gunther

Things didn't start off the best way this week on WWE RAW. The show was hardly beginning when Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn's promo was interrupted by Imperium. Unfortunately, by the time they were done, there was a botch that everyone was talking about.

Gunther's faction clearly had less than simple things on their mind as they attempted to assault KO and Zayn, but before they could do more, Riddle made his way out to the ring to help the Undisputed Tag Team Champions.

Riddle's interference sent them retreating at first, but they ended up pushing through with the assault anyway. It was a bad decision from them as Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn quickly dispatched Giovanni Vinci and Ludwig Kaiser.

However, when it came to Gunther, the star shoved Riddle away as if he was nothing. Riddle hit him with a big knee to the face, and Owens and Zayn looked to push him over the top rope with a double clothesline.

This is where the botch came, as Gunther appeared stuck on the ropes. It was noted by multiple fans that it was a botch on RAW, with several posting on Twitter.

They re-did the spot, with Gunther this time visibly throwing himself over the top rope. While it was likely a simple botch, it was a rare occasion where he was involved in an in-ring mistake on RAW.
