WWE RAW star makes sudden return after three-month absence
A WWE star who has been absent for three months made her surprise return on RAW. She reunited with her friends and even competed in the ring.
Dakota Kai is one of the original members of Damage CTRL. She has been with the group since the very beginning, along with IYO SKY. Over the years, the group has undergone many changes with the inclusion of Kairi Sane and Asuka.
However, they have had a quiet few months since WrestleMania 40. Asuka has been on the shelf due to an injury she sustained months ago. Damage CTRL was on the receiving end of an assault from Pure Fusion Collective a few months ago, which started their rivalry.
On the August 5 episode of WWE RAW, Dakota Kai was ambushed backstage by The Pure Fusion Collective before her match, rendering her unable to compete. Following this, it was revealed that Kai had suffered a torn meniscus. She even underwent surgery and has now fully recovered.
Tonight on WWE RAW, Damage CTRL was interviewed backstage before their match when Dakota Kai made a sudden appearance on screen. She mentioned she was riled at PFC for injuring her, and it's high time they showed everyone what Damage CTRL is capable of. She then went out to the ring with her stablemates.
It will be interesting to see if Damage CTRL will be able to get the win over Pure Fusion Collective.
