WWE RAW star moved from active roster - Reports

WWE Superstar Sami Zayn said, not long ago, that in today's climate within the company, if a wrestler is not part of Chief Content Officer Paul "Triple H" Levesque's vision, he or she likely will not be going anywhere. Whether this is the case or something else is unclear, but one of the 2024 Draft picks has been moved to the "misc" roster.

The RAW star in question is Kiana James. She was drafted from NXT to Monday Night RAW in April 2024 but was not used much on television ever since. The "misc" roster consists of athletes who are either out with lengthy injuries or absence for other reasons, or simply because the company uses them only sporadically.

As per PWInsider, James has been removed from the internal roster and is now part of the "misc" roster. The 27-year-old competed in two matches on the flagship show since her call-up to main roster. Triple H and Co. attempted to use her as an assistant to RAW General Manager Adam Pearce at one point, but it fizzled out.

Although Kiana James has also maintained silence regarding her lack of presence on WWE TV, the fact of the matter is she is not gone from the company. Perhaps this could change.

The New Day storyline scrapped; Odyssey Jones reportedly fired from WWE

The New Day appeared to have been revived to an extent thanks to the arrival of Odyssey Jones. There was a story with Karrion Kross repeatedly pursuing Xavier Woods to find it in the latter to rise above Kofi Kingston.

With Jones' addition at the behest of the former WWE Champion, Woods was relegated to an afterthought. This was felt by Xavier Woods, as he showed signs of disapproval. But unfortunately, Odyssey Jones was removed from the roster and reportedly fired after allegations of domestic violence was brought to light.

Speaking on the matter on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine, renowned journalist Bill Apter addressed the seriousness of the allegations. Although Apter was "sorry to hear" about the turn of events, former SmackDown General Manager Teddy Long had a different perspective:

"Like you guys are saying, 'I'm sorry to hear that,' I'm not saying that. I'm not sorry to hear that. These guys know better. This is a grown man we're talking about here, and I'm sure as long as he's been in the WWE he knows the rules and regulations. He knows what you can't do and what you can do."
