WWE RAW star must pitch new ideas to creative, Dutch Mantell says

Dutch Mantell worked as a booker, in-ring competitor, and manager during a wrestling career spanning five decades. The 74-year-old recently gave his thoughts on how Karrion Kross can improve his WWE storylines.

Kross is the leader of the Final Testament stable on RAW. The two-time NXT Champion has feuded with The Wyatt Sicks in recent weeks on television. He has also furthered storylines by posting in-character videos on social media.

Mantell, formerly known as Zeb Colter in WWE, said on Story Time with Dutch Mantell that Kross should speak up backstage about his on-screen presentation:

"I think he needs to go to the creative team and pitch it. And don't pitch it one week. Pitch it again and pitch it again until they tell you to shut the F up and get out of the room, and see what happens. Maybe one time they say, 'Why don't we try it just to see what it does?' And maybe that's all it takes." [2:18 – 2:39]

Mantell also claimed Kross was "dead on arrival" in WWE and he has "done nothing" since joining the company.

On October 29, Karrion Kross shared a video alongside his wife and fellow Final Testament member Scarlett. After finding out The Wyatt Sicks had kidnapped The Miz, the 39-year-old nonchalantly predicted that the former WWE Champion was "a hundred percent dead."

Mantell enjoyed the video and wants WWE to use Kross' self-made content on television:

"Hey, that was more interesting than what he's doing on TV now. It really is." [3:56 – 4:01]

Kross frequently appears on RAW alongside Akam, Paul Ellering, Rezar, and Scarlett. However, he has not competed in a televised match since defeating Akira Tozawa on the September 26 episode of Main Event.
