WWE RAW star's 452-day losing run comes to an end at recent live event
WWE hosted a live event in Birmingham, England, on Wednesday, April 17. Cody Rhodes and Damian Priest made their first title defenses. The show was filled with memorable moments and also saw a RAW star's 452-day losing run come to an end.
The star we are talking about is Tegan Nox, who has somewhat faded into the shadows since returning to the company in 2022. The 29-year-old rarely appears on TV and is often limited to house shows and Main Event, a network-exclusive program.
Nox has not had much success on the live circuit, losing her matches. However, things turned around for her at last night's show in Birmingham, as Tegan Nox and Natalya defeated Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler in tag team action.
This was Tegan's first house show win in over a year, with her last victory returning on January 21, 2023.
What else happened at the WWE live event in Birmingham, England?
Several WWE Superstars stopped in Birmingham for a house show, kickstarting the England tour. The event featured multiple title matches, with Cody Rhodes and Damian Priest defending their championships for the first time.
While the American Nightmare defeated Shinsuke Nakamura in the main event, Priest took on Kofi Kingston. Sami Zayn also put the Intercontinental Championship on the line against Gunther, Finn Balor, and Chad Gable in a Fatal Four-Way match.
The show also featured the return of Becky Lynch, who had been out of action since losing to Rhea Ripley at WrestleMania 40. The Man was reportedly slated to take time off, but it looks like an injury to Mami caused a change in plans.
A new Women's World Champion will be crowned on RAW this coming Monday, and Becky will likely also be involved in the picture.
