WWE RAW star shows new angle of recent "attack"
A WWE RAW star shared a new angle of the "attack" on a major star over the weekend. The star in question was in attendance at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis to watch the Chicago Bears take on the Colts.
The Colts got the victory over the Bears in Week 3 of the NFL season this past Sunday. During the game, Seth Rollins was shown in the crowd and revealed he was wearing a Bears jersey. Former Colts receiver TY Hilton snuck up from behind and humorously dumped Rollins over the barricade.
RAW commentator Pat McAfee revealed a new angle of the attack on The Pat McAfee Show today. He also suggested that Rollins may have been to blame for the Chicago Bears losing the game. Pat McAfee will be returning to the announce team when RAW moves to Netflix in January 2025.
"And then the Chicago Bears will go on to lose. So a lot of people are saying 'Was it Seth?'" said McAfee.
Rollins has not appeared on WWE television since he was brutally attacked by Bronson Reed on the August 5 edition of RAW. Bronson Reed is currently in a rivalry with Braun Strowman on the red brand and launched a fan at The Monster of All Monsters last week.
Bully Ray praises WWE for getting Seth Rollins' rival over
WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray (Bubba Ray Dudley) recently praised the promotion for getting fans invested in Bronson Reed.
Speaking on Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray discussed Bronson Reed hitting Braun Strowman with a Tsunami Splash on top of a car last month on RAW. The veteran noted that the company was doing a great job at getting fans to care about the former North American Champion.
"Every single week Bronson goes out there, they take a step forward with him," said Ray. "I'm more interested in him. They're getting him over. You can decide how you feel about it."
Bronson Reed seemingly took a shot at Seth Rollins after he was "attacked" at the Chicago Bears game over the weekend and claimed the former World Heavyweight Champion was a goof. It will be fascinating to see what the promotion has planned for Rollins when he makes his return to WWE RAW.
