WWE RAW suddenly goes off the air; Gunther wasn't ready

Gunther headlined RAW in a King of the Ring semi-final match against Jey Uso. Concluding the RAW side of the bracket, he qualified for the finals, but there was a small issue as RAW suddenly went off the air.

This week, the main event saw Gunther advance to the final of the King of the Ring tournament. This Friday on SmackDown, we'll see Randy Orton facing the MFT of The Bloodline Tama Tonga, with one of them going on to face The Ring General in the finals on Saturday in Jeddah.

Due to an overlap in the runtime, RAW was forced to go abruptly off the air. This meant that as Jey Uso passed out and the match concluded, Gunther wasn't even given the time to celebrate his win as the show abruptly cut off.

This was a bit frustrating for fans to watch as the ending of the show was abrupt, leaving a bitter taste in the mouths of those watching from home. If the former Intercontinental Champion had been given a minute to celebrate before the show cut off, it would have made a difference.

However, it was a timing issue and WWE was forced to cut off the show when they did. Perhaps it's a learning lesson to not run overtime, although it has happened a few times in the recent past.

The Ring General may not have got a celebration tonight, but he will certainly get a big one should he win on Saturday in Jeddah.
