WWE referee makes a request to Rhea Ripley after he sees her carrying IYO SKY backstage at Saturday Night's Main Event
WWE official Charles Robinson had a message for Rhea Ripley after she carried IYO SKY to the back at Saturday Night's Main Event. Mami took a semi-conscious SKY backstage after she lost the Women's World Championship match to Liv Morgan at the show.
At Saturday Night's Main Event, IYO SKY failed to defeat Liv Morgan for the Women's World Title. After the match, The Nightmare came out and confronted Morgan before Dominik took her away from Ripley's sight.
Rhea Ripley then got hold of IYO SKY and carried her to the back, with referee Charles Robinson following the duo. In a new clip shared by WWE's official Instagram handle, Robinson can be heard saying the following to Ripley:
"Never carry me like that."
Rhea Ripley explains why she confronted Liv Morgan at Saturday Night's Main Event
When Ripley confronted Morgan on the entrance ramp, the capacity crowd lost their minds and reacted loudly to it. Shortly after, Ripley gave a backstage interview and explained the reason behind her unexpected appearance and confrontation with Morgan.
Here's what she said:
“I wanted to obviously see what the outcome was gonna be of this match, I wanted to see if I was gonna be fighting to face IYO or Liv,” Ripley said. “Liv walked out victorious. Obviously, I want to take the title from Liv. So I thought that the best thing for me to do is to walk about there as calm as possible and intimate the absolute cr*p out of her.” [H/T WrestleZone]
Ripley hasn't tasted championship gold for quite some time now. She last held the Women's World title months ago when she vacated it in the middle of the ring. All she wants at the moment is to get back what she never lost by putting Liv Morgan down and pinning her.
