WWE referee went to hilarious lengths to avoid seeing Raquel Rodriguez's return; Rhea Ripley audible called at Bad Blood

Rhea Ripley challenged Liv Morgan for the WWE Women's World Championship at Bad Blood 2024. During the match, the referee favored The Eradicator, as he didn't count her out when she headed out of the ring and attacked Dominik Mysterio with a kendo stick.

As Mami continued to thrash Dirty Dom, Raquel Rodriguez made a shocking return and attacked Ripley. According to media reports, the original finish of the match was Morgan pinning Mami with the help of Rodriguez. But since the match official witnessed the events, it's hard to imagine how he could have avoided a DQ finish.

As seen from the video above, he did go to hilarious lengths to try and avoid seeing Raquel, going as far as to run away from Dominik Mysterio and instead stand and stare outside the ring.

He then walked back to Dominik and avoided contact with Rhea Ripley and Raquel when the 33-year-old threw the Australian inside the ring. Interestingly, the referee remained outside when the bell was called, with his back facing Raquel and Rhea in the ring.

Since the video clearly shows him on the outside looking away from the timekeeper, this means that it's likely that the match official wasn't the one who called for the encounter to end in a disqualification.

Rhea Ripley can have a rematch whenever she wants

As noted above, Liv Morgan was reportedly supposed to pin Rhea Ripley, which is why Raquel put the reigning champion over The Nightmare after the bell had already rang.

It's clear that Ripley will now go after the 33-year-old and is expected to walk away from her feud with Liv Morgan.

That said, the Australian superstar won the match against The Miracle Kid this past Saturday. She also pinned the reigning Women's World Champion in a Mixed Tag Team Match at Bash in Berlin. Hence, that's enough to give Mami a rematch, something that she can cash in whenever she wants to.

Ripley and Damian Priest have gone their separate ways now, which means The Eradicator has no backup against Morgan and Rodriguez. However, that could change in time, with several female wrestlers expected to return soon to television.
