It took Cody Rhodes two attempts at toppling Roman Reigns from his throne and capturing the Undisputed WWE Championship before he finally pulled it off. The American Nightmare's first shot came at WrestleMania 39, but he came up short then. However, at WrestleMania 40, after winning his second Royal Rumble, Rhodes beat The Tribal Chief in a Bloodline Rules match to finish his story.

Rhodes' win at the Showcase of the Immortals was a moment that was celebrated by the majority of the WWE Universe. A shot of his victory was on WWE's roster page to commemorate the moment. Now, Rhodes' victory has been replaced by a shot of Liv Morgan locking lips with Dominik Mysterio on WWE RAW.
