WWE replaces Cody Rhodes' WrestleMania moment
Cody Rhodes finally finished his story at WrestleMania XL. The victory went down as one of the most iconic moments in recent history. However, it looks like WWE has identified another moment that may be more popular, considering how the WWE Universe has reacted to it.
It took Cody Rhodes two attempts at toppling Roman Reigns from his throne and capturing the Undisputed WWE Championship before he finally pulled it off. The American Nightmare's first shot came at WrestleMania 39, but he came up short then. However, at WrestleMania 40, after winning his second Royal Rumble, Rhodes beat The Tribal Chief in a Bloodline Rules match to finish his story.
Rhodes' win at the Showcase of the Immortals was a moment that was celebrated by the majority of the WWE Universe. A shot of his victory was on WWE's roster page to commemorate the moment. Now, Rhodes' victory has been replaced by a shot of Liv Morgan locking lips with Dominik Mysterio on WWE RAW. The kiss was controversial and got the WWE Universe questioning Mysterio's loyalty to Rhea Ripley and how Ripley would react.
Who has Cody Rhodes defended his title against since WrestleMania XL?
The former AEW star came back to WWE to realize his dream of winning the Undisputed WWE Championship. Since winning the title, he has defended it twice on WWE TV. Rhodes' first title defense came at Backlash. The PLE emanated from Paris and saw the champion defend the title against AJ Styles.
Cody Rhodes walked out of Backlash as champion and was introduced to his next challenger on the subsequent episode of WWE SmackDown. The United States Champion, Logan Paul, stepped up to Rhodes next.
The two WWE Superstars locked horns at the King and Queen of the Ring PLE in Saudi Arabia over the weekend. The American Nightmare successfully defended his title in Jeddah as well.
