WWE's Liv Morgan says her mindset tweaked during recovery

Women's World Champion Liv Morgan has never looked and felt more confident in her entire WWE career than in 2024. However, this was not always the case with Morgan, who did not stand out from the pack despite already having a reign under her belt. She made an unannounced comeback during the Women's Royal Rumble match in January. From thereon, The Mircale Kid slowly rose up the ranks.

According to Morgan, she gained perspective six months before the Rumble when she sat on the bench due to a shoulder injury. She considers the time before and after to be significantly different in terms of her career and frame of mind.

In an interview with The Mirror, Liv Morgan noted that unlike before, when she felt lucky to be the SmackDown Women's Champion, today, she knows that the fans are fortunate to have her with the title. It is this tweak in her mindset that made all the difference:

"I think the time off really just took me to the next level. I think just for me personally, I just feel like a different human, I feel like a different performer, a different champion than I was before," she said. "I am way more confident this time around. I'm way more sure of myself. I am so much smarter. I'm so much craftier. And I am so much more ready to do whatever it takes to be the woman on top and to stay the woman on top. That was not my mindset before at all, before I just felt so lucky to be champion and now I know that you guys are lucky that I'm your champion."

Liv Morgan has crossed 200 days as Women's World Champion:
