WWE's over-dependence on The Bloodline exposed; wrestling veteran bashes the SmackDown creative team (Exclusive)
The Bloodline has been the most dominant faction on SmackDown for the last few years. Former WWE head writer Vince Russo spoke about how the entire show is planned around the faction.
Solo Sikoa took over as the new leader of The Bloodline after WrestleMania XL. He inducted new members such as Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu into the ranks and even assumed the moniker of "Tribal Chief."
On the latest episode of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW, Russo was irate with the faction dominating the whole show. He pointed out how every week's episode ended with The Bloodline on top and the babyfaces getting laid out.
"Let's not even talk about SmackDown. All SmackDown is, Bloodline at the end of the show. Bloodline over, the babyfaces come back next week. That's all that show is. There's nothing. They put LA Knight to cut a promo, Logan Paul isn't even in the building. That's what that show is. Bloodline heat, babyface backed in. That's all that show is, period. They got nothing for Cody." This past Friday, The Blooldine laid out Randy Orton and forced Cody Rhodes to watch helplessly.
The faction will now be gearing up for SummerSlam where Solo Sikoa is scheduled to face Cody for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
