WWE's Seth Rollins teases possible heel turn ahead of WrestleMania 41

Seth Rollins appears to have put down the monster, 'Big' Bronson Reed, for now. While they may continue the program for the remainder of 2024, it's hard to imagine WrestleMania 41 without the inevitable showdown between The Visionary and CM Punk.

The match was originally slated for this year's Show of Shows, but Punk's untimely injury rendered it impossible. Way ahead of the spectacle, Rollins notes he prefers being a heel WWE Superstar.

In a sit-down interview with The Pivot Podcast, Seth Rollins was asked whether he always saw himself as a bad guy. He admitted that it simply is a lot more fun to be an antagonist. He also claims to have a "knack for p***ing people off," and points to how easy it is to make audiences hate him in today's political climate:

"I think I did always see myself as a heel," Seth Rollins began. "They just have so much more fun. It's so much more fun to be an antagonist. It feels great to have the adulation but it's so much more fun and to be fair, it's a little easier, at least in 2024, to be a heel in our industry. You look around, people just love throwing hate. If you take one look on any social media platform, that's all it is. People throwing criticism." [From 12:00 onwards]

The Visionary also revealed some of his favorite WWE Superstars in the past were heels, such as Ric Flair and Triple H. He added that his confidence sort of blended well with cockiness and arrogance, so he ran with it throughout his career.

Seth Rollins says WrestleMania 41 in Las Vegas will top everything that preceded it

Every time WWE's annual spectacle is inching closer, the expectations peak. The company also makes it a point to up WrestleMania each year.

Seth Rollins highlighted the success of WrestleMania XL but added that next year's event in Paradise, Nevada, will be bigger and better. Without getting into any specifics, the former World Heavyweight Champion addressed the pressure to pull off another grand show:

"Last year, WrestleMania XL, right? WrestleMania 40. So it's the biggest one of all time. We got to top that this year so all the cards are on the table, all hands are on deck. It's going to be bigger than the biggest WrestleMania of all time," Rollins said.

Seth Rollins is rumored to face CM Punk on The Grandest Stage Of Them All next year, although plans can change between now and then. The event is set for Easter weekend, April 19 and 20.
