WWE shares new angle of brutal attack on RAW

WWE shared a new angle today of a brutal attack from this past Monday's episode of RAW. The promotion is currently on the road to Bad Blood on October 5.

Bron Breakker and Jey Uso had a confrontation in the ring this past Monday night on RAW, which ended badly for the champion. The former Bloodline member is also involved in a romantic angle with Rhea Ripley and when The Judgment Day attacked The Terror Twins (Ripley and Damian Priest) in the main event of the show, Uso attempted to make the save.

However, Breakker showed up out of nowhere and leveled Uso with a Spear. The promotion shared a new angle of the attack today on Instagram and you can check out the video in the post below.

Bron Breakker captured the Intercontinental Championship by defeating Sami Zayn last month at SummerSlam. Next week on RAW, he will defend his IC Title against Main Event Jey. Uso has never held a singles title in WWE.

Vince Russo claims WWE made a mistake with Bron Breakker and Jey Uso's storyline on RAW

Wrestling legend Vince Russo claimed WWE made a mistake this past Monday night on RAW.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW show, Russo claimed that a lot of people may have missed Bron Breakker's attack on Jey Uso at the end of the show. He noted that Uso got the better of the Intercontinental Champion during their promo on RAW, and many fans may have tuned out before the 26-year-old hit him with a Spear at the conclusion of the broadcast.

"A storyline isn't you're nothing without your family, like, that's not a freaking storyline, but here's another thing too. Breakker gets the heat, and Jey Uso winds up spearing him. Again, we took the heat away, but then Breakker got the heat back at the end of the show. I didn't, too (like it), but unfortunately, Chris, a lot of people changed the channel or they went to bed. It was at the very end of the show, so very few people, the smallest audience, got to see Bron Breakker get his heat back." [From 42:38 onwards]

Uso mocked Bron Breakker's short stint in the NFL during RAW this week. It will be interesting to see if the 39-year-old can capture the Intercontinental Championship next Monday night.
