WWE shares part 2 of Cody Rhodes and major star's collaboration for Bad Blood

WWE shared part two of their promotional video with Cody Rhodes and a major star for Bad Blood. The premium live event will be returning later this year in October.

Cody Rhodes and Metro Boomin released a video, earlier this year, promoting the return of WWE Bad Blood. The event will take place on October 5 at the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. The two stars were on a stakeout in their original video and in the second part, they were still sitting in the parking lot outside the arena.

Metro Boomin noted that they had been sitting there for over a month and said he wanted to get out of the car. Rhodes was bewildered and wondered who he was talking to.

Wrestling veteran, Dutch Mantell discussed Cody Rhodes selecting Kevin Owens as his opponent for WWE Bash in Berlin on August 31.

The American Nightmare told Kevin Owens that he wanted to defend the Undisputed WWE Championship against him at the premium live event at the end of the month, during this past Friday's episode of SmackDown. Owens initially refused but later accepted the match after SmackDown GM Nick Aldis stated that he was considering Roman Reigns for a title match. The Prizefighter claimed The Tribal Chief didn't deserve anything and the match was made official.

Speaking on this week's edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk show, Dutch Mantell claimed that the segment threw off wrestling fans because Kevin Owens hadn't done anything of note lately to earn a world title match.

"Owens came to help him out when he was outnumbered. When those guys left, they got to talking. Cody started this interview by saying, 'Who should I face next?' Where are they in Berlin, the next pay-per-view? He says, 'I think it should be you, Kevin.' I think this threw everybody off because he's telling kind of where fans would say, 'Yeah what has he done?' But he brought it up first. He says, 'I hadn't done that much, I hadn't earned it.' And Cody keeps saying, 'It's gonna be you.' They leave the ring, they go back and talk to Nick Aldis and they explain that to him," he said. [9:45 onwards]
