WWE SmackDown star is not ready to "move up" to the next level, says Dutch Mantell (Exclusive)

While WWE continues to bolster its roster with new faces, quite a few familiar ones hope to get booked better on TV. One of them is Michin, who Dutch Mantell believes is currently in the right role.

Despite returning to WWE in 2022, Michin, aka Mia Yim, has undergone several creative phases but has yet to cement her position as a top female singles talent.

The 35-year-old hasn't been lucky in the wins and losses department, as she suffered another defeat this week on SmackDown at the hands of Nia Jax.

While discussing her prospects in the WWE, Dutch Mantell stated that Michin was fine where she presently was and didn't believe the superstar was ready for a level-up.

"I think they are doing as much as they can with her right now. I don't think she is ready to move up. I think she is fine in the spot she is in." [29:20 - 29:35]

Dutch Mantell, however, was pretty high on Chelsea Green. He felt she was one of the brightest talents in the women's division.

Green impressed at Money in the Bank and has regularly been one of WWE's most entertaining characters, and Dutch Mantell highlighted her unmissable screen presence.

The former manager added:

"The one I'm expecting to move up is Chelsea Green, and because that girl, she just stands out there, and you notice her right away. Well, she is going to do something stupid, and you know she is likable, and that's a type of heel, and she plays that role perfectly. Out of all the segments, I liked this one better than the others." [29:36 nonwards]

Both Michin and Chelsea Green have been wrestling for a while, and under the new regime, they could hope for better opportunities to prove themselves on the big stage.
