WWE SmackDown Superstars form new alliance backstage
WWE Superstars often find themselves going against the numbers game, especially the babyface grapplers. Going solo can be beneficial, but linking up with another like-minded talent has paid off in major ways for various WWE stars over the years. Amid championship chases on SmackDown, a new alliance was just revealed backstage.
Friday's SmackDown featured the third Triple Threat qualifier in the tournament to crown the inaugural WWE Women's United States Champion. Michin advanced to the semi-finals by defeating Piper Niven and Lash Legend, who was replacing the injured Jade Cargill. At one point, Chelsea Green tried to attack Michin on behalf of Niven, but B-Fab made the save. The former Hit Row member rammed Green into the apron, then fought her to the back.
Briana Brandy, aka B-Fab, recently received major behind-the-scenes praise after officials began booking her in more matches. Michin took to Instagram today to share the following backstage footage of her and B-Fab greeting each other at SmackDown after the Triple Threat. B-Fab declared Michin to be the inaugural Women's United States Champion. Michin captioned the post with a line about loyalty, and a prediction of sorts for the ongoing tournament.

B-Fab competed in the tournament opener but came up short in her quest for the new title. The November 15 SmackDown saw Bayley advance to the semi-finals by defeating B-Fab and Candice LeRae.
WWE to crown new champion at SNME
World Wrestling Entertainment will present a two-hour simulcast of Saturday Night's Main Event XXXVII later this month, airing on Peacock and NBC. The big event is scheduled for December 14 at 8 pm ET, live from Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum in Long Island, NY.
WWE's first-ever Women's United States Champion will be crowned at the 37th SNME special. The tournament finals will feature the winner of the Bayley vs. Chelsea Green semifinal match, going up against the winner of the semifinal bout between Michin and the winner of Friday's Triple Threat. The semifinal matches will air on December 13, the night before SNME.
Michin's opponent will be determined in the final Triple Threat qualifier set to air this Friday on SmackDown. The match will feature Naomi, Tiffany Stratton, and Elektra Lopez. The rest of the opening round saw Green defeat Bianca Belair and Blair Davenport to advance, while Michin beat Lash Legend and Piper Niven.
