WWE star Asuka teases deleting all of her social media following harassment
WWE Superstar Asuka recently teased deleting all of her social media accounts after she faced harassment. The Empress of Tomorrow has been absent from the Stamford-based promotion's programming since May 2024.
Asuka last competed inside the squared circle at Backlash France, where she teamed up with Kairi Sane to lock horns with Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair for the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. After losing the bout, the 43-year-old star went on a hiatus due to an unfortunate knee injury. There has been speculation of her return but nothing has been confirmed as of today.
The Empress of Tomorrow recently took to X/Twitter to provide an update about her Facebook account getting banned multiple times. In her tweet, she also asked "third parties" to stop harassing her, before sharing the message she received from Facebook.
"I received this message from Facebook. It has been suspended many times so far, but could third parties please stop harassing me?" Asuka shared. [Translated from Japanese via Google Translate]

Following this, Asuka posted another tweet, teasing to close all of her social media accounts, seemingly frustrated by her Facebook account being suspended.
"I think I'll close down all my social networking sites," Asuka shared.

A popular WWE RAW star wants to face Asuka
During an edition of Chris Van Vliet's INSIGHT, WWE RAW Superstar Sonya Deville said Asuka was one of her favorite opponents. Deville also mentioned that after she got called up to the main roster from NXT, she could not get a chance to face The Empress of Tomorrow.
The former WWE Women's Tag Team Champion added that she would love to be involved in a feud with the Damage CTRL member.
"And then it would be like, I go to RAW, she got to SmackDown, she go to SmackDown, I go to RAW, and we just keep playing tag and not catching each other. So I was like, if I could paint the perfect picture, I would love to have like a two-three seg match with Asuka and just mess each other up," Sonya Deville said.
It remains to be seen when Asuka will be fully recovered to return to the Stamford-based promotion.
