WWE star Big E opens up about potential retirement
WWE Superstar Big E recently commented on the possibility of never getting the chance to return to the ring. The New Day member has not wrestled since the March 11, 2022, edition of WWE SmackDown.
Former Brawling Brutes star Ridge Holland hit a move outside the ring that did not go as planned during the match. Big E suffered a broken neck during the move and has not returned to the ring. In an interview with Adrian Hernandez, the former WWE Champion shared that he doesn't know if he will be making a return to the squared circle but is living a great life.
"I don't know if there is necessarily a cut-off. I don't know if they have a date in mind or a time or any of those things. But I'm content in life right now, and I have been content in life since day one, honestly," he said.
The veteran added that he is not in pain and fans shouldn't feel pity for him. Big E also thanked fans for still showing him support two and a half years following the injury.
"I can't believe...I thought after a year, people would have moved on and given up, but it's like two and a half years, and people are still asking. I appreciate that, it means a lot, but life has been really, really good. I am blessed. I don't live in any regret or any of those things, I'm very, very thankful," he added. [H/T: Wrestling Inc]

Big E reacts to WWE star helping The New Day on RAW
Big E shared his thoughts on Odyssey Jones helping The New Day last week on WWE RAW.
Odyssey Jones was drafted by the red brand in 2023 but never made an appearance. He finally showed up during last week's episode of RAW and helped Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods in their rivalry against The Final Testament. Big E took to social media to share his reaction and claimed Odyssey Jones was going to be a star.
"The big man looked phenomenal!!! A star is born! Odyssey made a lot of new fans tonight! #WWERaw," he wrote.
The former champion has made several appearances as an analyst during the Kickoff Shows for the promotion's Premium Live Events. Only time will tell if the 38-year-old ever returns to the squared circle down the line.
