WWE star botches major move off the ropes; immediately penalized
A popular WWE Superstar recently made a major botch while performing a move off the ropes during NXT Deadline. The name in question is Je'Von Evans.
At the WWE Premium Live Event, Je'Von Evans and Wes Lee started the Men's Iron Survivor Challenge. Both stars opened the match on a high note, and for the most part, it was a back-and-forth affair. After showcasing some incredible moves inside the squared circle, Evans, unfortunately, made a major botch while attempting a move off the ropes.
During the match, the 20-year-old seemingly attempted a stunner off the ropes on Wes Lee. However, it was awkward, as Evans was not able to execute the move correctly. After a slight pause, he went ahead with the move anyway, but he paid the price as Lee managed to secure a pinfall on him.
The match has not finished, as several other big-name talents, including Ethan Page and Nathan Frazer, have yet to participate in the bout. As previously confirmed by WWE NXT General Manager Ava, there will also be a fifth mystery opponent.
Whoever secures the most pinfalls during the 25-minute Men's Iron Survivor Challenge will end up as the winner. It will be interesting to see who will emerge victorious.
