WWE star breaks character to send message to Bron Breakker
A WWE Superstar has broken character to send a message to Bron Breakker following this week's episode of RAW. The former NXT Champion has made a major impact on the main roster so far and recently sent Ricochet home on a stretcher. This was none other than his Wolf Dog teammate, Baron Corbin.
Last night on WWE RAW, Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn and Bron Breakker had a confrontation backstage. RAW GM Adam Pearce got involved and a marquee match was made official for Money in the Bank on July 6. Sami Zayn will be putting his title on the line against Bron Breakker at the premium live event in Toronto. WWE shared a clip of the backstage segment and you can check it out in the video below.
Baron Corbin broke character and sent a message to Breakker ahead of his Intercontinental Championship match next month.
"🔥 Let’s go Wolfdog," he wrote.
Before Bron Breakker was called up, he and Corbin captured the NXT Tag Team Championships together. The duo were known as The Wolf Dogs and dropped the titles to Nathan Frazier and Axiom before they were both called up to the main roster. Baron Corbin is currently a babyface on WWE SmackDown and was eliminated by Carmelo Hayes in the King of the Ring tournament last month.
Vince Russo suggests interesting way WWE should book Bron Breakker
Former WWE writer Vince Russo has suggested that the promotion book Bron Breakker similar to how Goldberg was featured in WCW back in the day.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW podcast, the veteran stated that Breakker should have a gimmick where he defeats his opponents in under five minutes. Russo added that Breakker's matches have been going for too long in recent weeks. The 26-year-old has been in action the past few weeks on WWE RAW and each of the matches lasted longer than ten minutes.
"He should do a gimmick like five minutes. I'm gonna beat every opponent under five minutes. Like, bro there's enough people for them to feed him bro, like that's what they did with Goldberg, that should be the gimmick. I need five minutes to beat them, that's it. These matches with him are just going on way too long bro." [41:30 - 41:53]
Sami Zayn dethroned Gunther at WrestleMania XL to become the Intercontinental Champion. It will be interesting to see if Breakker can capture the title at Money in the Bank next month in Toronto.
