WWE star confirms his 6’3" son will get into wrestling; wants him to train with Natalya and Booker T

A WWE veteran has confirmed that his son will pursue pro wrestling sometime in the future. The veteran, R-Truth, made the statement during a recent Instagram live session where he answered several fan questions.

R-Truth has been a mainstay in World Wrestling Entertainment for more than a decade at this point. He has mostly been used in comedic spots, and has also won his fair share of titles.

In a recent Instagram live stream, R-Truth revealed that he will send his son to train with Natalya and Booker T. Here's his comment:

Fans would love to see Chris Killings in the company somewhere down the line and flourish under the Triple H regime.

Former WWE CEO Vince McMahon once turned down an idea pitched by R-Truth

R-Truth was quite possibly the hottest act in the Stamford-based promotion back in 2019. He was having the time of his life, doing the 24/7 Title segments and each one of those was getting millions of views across the company's social media handles.

Back then, R-Truth crashed Drake Maverick and Renee Michelle's wedding and pinned Maverick to win the WWE 24/7 Title. Truth apparently had a different idea for his attire for the segment and he spoke about the same on the Edge and Christian's Pod of Awesomeness.

"That was [NXT Performance Center Trainer] Sarah Stock's idea. She was there and she was like, 'Well, at first I was going to do the wedding dress and I'm like, eh. Vince McMahon said no. No wedding dress,'" Truth said. "That sounds like he is trying to be funny. Vince said to tell Truth to just be funny, to just be himself and when he said that I was like, 'Yeah, okay, cool. I see his point.'" [H/T - WrestlingInc.]

Nikki Cross was the last 24/7 Champion and WWE deactivated the title in December 2022. Truth won the title a record 54 times.
