WWE star Drew McIntyre reacts after breaking character for wholesome moment
WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre recently took to social media to send a message after breaking his on-screen character for a wholesome moment with fans. The Scottish Warrior is currently one of the biggest heels in the Stamford-based promotion.
After failing to capture the World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins multiple times, McIntyre finally turned heel in 2023. This year, the 39-year-old star has given fans one of the best storylines with CM Punk. The duo feuded for months and finally locked horns at the SummerSlam Premium Live Event in Cleveland, Ohio, with Rollins serving as the Special Guest Referee. The bout ended in The Scottish Warrior's favor, but it seems like their feud is not over yet.
X/Twitter user Joey Karni recently posted a video of Drew McIntyre breaking his on-screen persona to share a wholesome moment with young fans. This post caught McIntyre's attention and he reacted to it, writing that some people still think he is the bad guy, seemingly taking a shot at CM Punk.
"And some people still think I’m the bad guy…"

Fans are now expecting some more action-packed matches between Drew and Punk in the future. Only time will tell whether the Stamford-based promotion treats the WWE Universe with such classic bouts.
Drew McIntyre reacted to his win against CM Punk after WWE SummerSlam 2024
During the SummerSlam 2024 Post-Show Press Conference, Drew McIntyre said that he did not expect CM Punk would bring the fight to him at the event.
McIntyre also mentioned that he believed he was way better than Punk, taking a shot at the latter by calling himself the "Best in the World."
"I will give Punk credit. I did not expect him to bring the fight like he brought it. But realistically in 2024, Drew McIntyre is the absolute best in the world. The total package in every way. Who is Punk going to blame? He will probably come out on RAW. Maybe he will post a social media promo, 'It was Seth's fault.' 'It was the cameraman's fault.' He will make some excuse. Not just Punk but nobody on this planet is as good as Drew McIntyre. Punk found out in that ring, on this microphone, Drew McIntyre is the man," Drew McIntyre said.
It will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for a potential rematch between Drew McIntyre and CM Punk.
