WWE star finally breaks silence after physical confrontation with Shawn Michaels

Eddy Thorpe had an unfortunate incident during last week’s episode of WWE NXT. While meeting General Manager Ava, a backstage brawl between two tag teams broke out, inadvertently resulting in The Rock's being taken out in the chaos.

Shawn Michaels quickly rushed to the scene and confronted Eddy Thorpe, holding him responsible for the incident. The WWE Hall of Famer was visibly furious and demanded that Thorpe leave the building immediately.

During the latest episode of NXT, Thorpe was interviewed backstage. He dismissed concerns about the previous week, stating that footage clearly showed he was not at fault for Ava’s injury.

Shifting focus, Thorpe addressed the Last Chance Qualifying Fatal Four-Way Match later that night, where a spot in the Men’s Iron Survivor Challenge at NXT Deadline was up for grabs. During the interview, Lexis King, also a competitor in the match, interrupted to offer unsolicited advice. He warned Eddy that being a loose cannon wouldn’t lead to success. Interestingly, King's father, the late Brian Pillman, was known for his "Loose Cannon" gimmick in WWE.

Thorpe lashed out, saying he had no intention of listening to someone with “daddy issues.” He added that he would channel his anger into their match.

It will be interesting to see who emerges victorious and takes the final spot in the Iron Survivor Challenge.
