WWE star is furious and walks out after RAW ignoring everyone; casts doubt on his future
Things didn't go well for a WWE star on RAW today and it left him angry enough to walk out.
Tommaso Ciampa was furious after DIY lost to Awesome Truth and it was clear as he teased turning heel immediately after. He refused to shake hands with The Miz and R-Truth, something that left his partner, Johnny Gargano in an awkward position. Not only that, there was also the fact that he was not going to stand around in an interview either.
Backstage, DIY was in an interview about their missed opportunity with the World Tag Team Championship. When asked what was next, Ciampa immediately had an outburst and said that winning the title was supposed to be what was next.
"What's the next step? This was the next step. Becoming the World Tag Team Champions was the next step. There is no next step."
He indicated that he was done and was fidgeting and angry throughout the video, looking like he was moments away from losing his mind.
When asked about how he had processed the loss differently, he said, "This is a waste of time." He then walked out ignoring Gargano, very emotional and furious. Gargano made excuses for him, saying that he was emotional and that he had always been that way.
It remains to be seen what's next for them after this, given that Ciampa said that he felt that there was no next step left for them as a tag team.
The WWE World Tag Team Title is still held by Awesome Truth
Thanks to an unexpected moment at WrestleMania, the Undisputed Tag Team Title was split up after the event with Waller and Theory winning the WWE tag team Title, while the World Tag Team Title was won by The Miz and R-Truth.
After WWE RAW and their first televised title defense, the two veterans have still retained their titles.
However, with the tension with Tommaso Ciampa, it appears that they have lost a friend in the process, given that they were allies before this. Irrespective, R-Truth and The Miz are on an unprecedented run, and it seems that it will continue in the long run.
