WWE star gets physical for the first time since 'horrific' injury at SummerSlam; recently pulled out of title match
A WWE star got physical in the ring at the SummerSlam Premium Live Event. This was the first time he had done so since his injury. This would be Tonga Loa.
It's been a couple of months since Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa were added to The Bloodline. Since their arrival, the group has been dominant. They have been feuding with Kevin Owens, Randy Orton, and Cody Rhodes.
Every week, The Bloodline has attacked them and destroyed them in the ring. A couple of weeks ago, Bloodline attacked Kevin Owens when Tonga Loa suffered an eye injury. As a result, he was removed from the tag team gauntlet match and replaced by Jacob Fatu. Jacob and Tama Tonga would then go on to win the WWE Tag Team Championships. However, during this time, Tonga wouldn't get physically involved until tonight.
At SummerSlam, Solo Sikoa faced off against Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship. During the match, Cody was in control when Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa stormed the ring to attack The American Nightmare. However, both Kevin Owens and Randy Orton also turned up to level the playing field. They chased away Tonga and Loa from the ring, and the match continued.
Solo Sikoa lost the match after interference from the returning Roman Reigns. It remains to be seen what's next for him after the events of SummerSlam.
