WWE star IMMEDIATELY gets up after being hit with The Rock's People's Elbow; wins title match
A top WWE Superstar survived The Rock's People's Elbow at last night's live event and went on to win the match. The star in question is the current World Heavyweight Champion, Damian Priest.
WWE held a three-show tour in Japan from July 25 to 27. The live events featured some of the promotion's biggest names, including Damian Priest and Jey Uso. On the third night, Priest defended his World Heavyweight title against Jey in a singles match.
At one point during the bout, Jey noticed Priest lying in the middle of the ring. He seized the opportunity and hit his version of the People's Elbow on The Judgment Day member. Interestingly, the champ immediately got up after being hit with the legendary move that belongs to The Rock.
Jey then tried to hit a Rock Bottom on The Archer of Infamy, but the latter blocked the move. Jey ended up hitting a Spear on Priest, but the champion kicked out during the three-count. In the end, Priest defeated Jey to retain the World Heavyweight title.

The Rock will seemingly come back in the near future
It's been quite some time since The Great One was spotted on WWE TV. He played a major role on the road to WrestleMania XL and was involved in both night's main events. On Night One, he pinned Cody Rhodes, thus winning a blockbuster tag team match for The Bloodline.
On Night Two, he interfered in the main event and almost cost Rhodes an Undisputed WWE title win. His former rival, The Undertaker, came out of nowhere and foiled his plans.
In the end, The American Nightmare picked up the big win over Roman Reigns to win the top prize. The Rock went on to hint at a feud against Rhodes somewhere down the line.
