WWE star has made biggest impact since Brock Lesnar in 2002, former champion says
Brock Lesnar burst onto WWE's main roster scene in 2002 on the post-WrestleMania 18 episode of RAW. In a recent podcast appearance, former WWE star Mideon explained why Jacob Fatu reminds him of The Beast Incarnate.
Lesnar instantly cemented his status as a future top star during a dominant first few months on the main roster. Similarly, Fatu has received widespread praise since debuting in June due to his aggressive style and believable character.
Mideon worked for WWE between 1996 and 2001. On The Undertaker's Six Feet Under with Mark Calaway podcast, the former European Champion only had positive things to say about Fatu's main roster impact.
"A monster. I have never seen anyone since maybe Brock Lesnar, but that's different because he was so much bigger in wrestling and the UFC, but I've never seen anyone better come in and immediately strike fear into people, fans, other people. He's great. Again, the Samoans, you know? They can't do wrong," Mideon said. [54:24-54:46]
The Samoan Werewolf will team up with Solo Sikoa to face Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns at Bad Blood on October 5.
Mideon praises another WWE star
While Jacob Fatu's performances have been a major highlight on SmackDown, Dominik Mysterio and Liv Morgan continue to feature heavily on RAW.
Mideon is a big fan of Morgan and believes her on-screen partner has done a great job at getting fans to despise him:
"Dominik doesn't have to do anything. He comes out there, and they go crazy. The frigging mustache and the fact that he's not jacked—you know what I mean? He's perfect!" he added. [53:33-53:45]
Morgan will defend the Women's World Championship against Rhea Ripley at Bad Blood. Mysterio will be locked in a shark cage suspended above the ring.
