WWE star should never win a title or be pinned, The Undertaker says
The Undertaker was one of WWE's biggest attractions between 1990 and 2020. In a recent podcast episode, the Hall of Famer gave his thoughts on how Omos should be booked.
At seven-foot-three, Omos is one of the largest WWE Superstars ever. The 30-year-old held the RAW Tag Team Championship with AJ Styles in 2021. He has also faced several high-profile names as a singles competitor, including Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar.
On his Six Feet Under w/Mark Calaway podcast, The Deadman said Omos should never lose via pinfall. He also claimed the Nigerian's menacing character does not need to win any titles:
"Somebody like Omos doesn't need to ever be pinned," The Undertaker stated. "There's always an out. There's always an out somewhere. He doesn't get pinned. There's nothing in almost any scenario that makes sense. I don't care what comic book fantasy world that you live in. He doesn't need a belt. He is a walking, breathing, living attraction." The biggest match of Omos' career so far came in 2023 at WrestleMania 39. He lost via pinfall in a five-minute bout against Brock Lesnar.
The Undertaker on whether Omos should be a face or heel
Since debuting on the main roster in 2020, Omos has mostly performed as a bad guy.
Moving forward, The Undertaker thinks the former basketball player should continue to work as a heel before eventually turning face:
"I could see him coming in as a heel and then something happening and him being just an ultra, mega worldwide babyface. He doesn't have to work every week. That's the thing. He doesn't have to work on TV every week. What he can do and is willing to do because he loves the industry and loves everything that comes with that, as an active competitor, he could be a global ambassador for the sport." [27:45 – 28:15]
Omos has not wrestled since participating in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the April 5 episode of SmackDown. MVP's former on-screen ally inadvertently eliminated himself from the match while attempting to throw The Creed Brothers over the top rope.
