WWE star has only one way to leave his mark on the roster, says Dutch Mantel (Exclusive)

Given the considerable number of talents on the WWE roster, it is natural that some have not been given as much of a push as they desire. One star in particular, has been making a lot of headlines recently after his recent comments.

Montez Ford and his tag team, the Street Profits have been in the mid-card for quite some time now. Despite being Triple Crown Champions, they have rarely been on the forefront. The 34-year-old recently appeared to have made his frustrations known, which has prompted discussions about his future.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's SmackTalk show, Dutch Mantel was asked about how the Street Profits could get a big break. He stated that Ford should just keep up with his recent complaints, till someone gets tired and hands him something significant.

"How to get out of it? Bi*ching. Just keep bi*ching, and bi*ching and bi*ching and bi*ching, [until they say] 'Goddamn we will give you something.' If you just stay in their ear and just complaining." [13:51 onwards]

Bill Apter also commented on the WWE Tag Team's plight

According to legendary journalist Bill Apter, the Street Profits have been booked poorly by WWE.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's The Wrestling Time Machine, Apter stated that the creative department's decisions regarding the fan-favorite tag team have been ill-advised. He said:

"I think the Street Profits are honestly feeling slapped in the face by WWE, where they weren't given the tag team belts. Instead a new team comes in that WWE is selling as 'Oh my god they are the innovators of this, and that, they're great, everybody in the world knows them, they've been to Japan...' Why not put those belts on the house guys that have really earned it and deserve it? And then maybe have the Machine Guns come in and feud with them." [1:08 onwards]

As of now, it remains to be seen how the Street Profits will be treated in the coming months.
