WWE star Rhea Ripley reveals she can't have children right now; discloses major reason why
WWE Superstar Rhea Ripley recently opened up about possibly having children with her husband, Buddy Matthews. She claimed they could not have kids for the next five to 10 years for a significant reason.
The Eradicator is currently one of the top superstars in the Stamford-based company. Earlier this year, the 28-year-old tied the knot with AEW star Buddy Matthews. Although multiple current female superstars have had children over the past few years, the former Women's World Champion recently disclosed in an interview with Jazzys World TV that she cannot do the same for the upcoming five to 10 years.
Ripley explained to Jazzy that she did not want to have her children go on the road with her, claiming she was not good at that, unlike someone like Becky Lynch.
"If you think about it this way as well, a lot of us get motherhood taken away for a long time. Like, I'm still young, yes, but I work for WWE; it's very demanding. I probably can't have kids for the next five to 10 years because I don't want to have to bring them on the road and put them through that,'' she said.
The Australian added:
''I'm not good at that. But then you look at someone like Becky Lynch, who did go and have a kid and did come back and is still the badass, The Man; she is herself, and she's a great mother while she does that. She brings Roux on the road every now and then, and she's absolutely killing it!'' [1:18-1:51]
Rhea Ripley is currently absent from WWE TV due to an injury
The Eradicator suffered a legitimate injury during a backstage segment on RAW after WrestleMania 40. After nearly three months, Rhea Ripley returned to feud with Liv Morgan and pursue the Women's World Championship.
Over the next few months, Mami was betrayed by her on-screen boyfriend, Dominik Mysterio, who sided with Morgan, as he and the rest of The Judgment Day kicked her and Damian Priest out of the group. Ripley also failed to dethrone the 30-year-old champion at SummerSlam and Bad Blood.
The 28-year-old WWE Superstar recently suffered another legitimate orbital bone injury that has put her back on the shelf. It remains unknown when the former Women's World Champion will return to action.
