WWE star rumored to be leaving makes emotional statement; shares picture with Brock LesnarĀ
Brock Lesnar may be gone from WWE, but a star has shared a picture of a special moment with him during an emotional statement about his run with the company. Currently, rumors are rampant about the star leaving.
MVP even encountered and wrestled Brock Lesnar during this run, with Bobby Lashley also feuding with him for the title. As part of the Hurt Business, MVP had Lashley's back. He is currently the topic of conversation as a star who is potentially leaving WWE.
The star shared a picture of a moment when he was wrestling Lesnar and made an emotional statement about his run in the company. The star spoke about how he had returned to WWE so that his son could see him wrestle, but then he put on boots and even worked nine segments of RAW at one time and was put together with Bobby Lashley by Paul Heyman.
He said that it had been a wild ride. He didn't mention whether this would end his run in WWE or if he was indeed leaving the company. While it looks like a farewell statement, there's no confirmation if that's the case or if it's him gearing up for a return.
"I came back so my baby boy could see 'Daddy' in a WWE ring. "The Royal Rumble." That's all I wanted. A one off. I was ready to retire. Then, I received an offer to become a producer. The pandemic hit. I became a producer AND a commentator for Main Event. Next, they asked me to put the boots on and help out with TV during the 'PC Era'. One episode of RAW, 'MVP' was in NINE segments! Heyman agreed to put me and Roberto together. I signed a full time talent contract. And then we made history. What a ride!!!!" he wrote.
Brock Lesnar was the first person MVP faced on his return
MVP has good reason to share a picture with Brock Lesnar.
Not only did the star end up in a feud with him when Brock Lesnar came after the WWE Championship, but he was also the star he first faced on his return.
When MVP returned at the 2020 Royal Rumble, Lesnar was dominating the ring at the time. He was the first star MVP battled after his return following a long time away from the company, making it memorable.
