WWE star says he "can't" talk about wild incident with John Cena that happened on live TV

A WWE Superstar has refused to talk about an incident involving him and John Cena during a high-stakes championship match. The star in question is Baron Corbin.

On July 26, 2016, episode of WWE SmackDown, a #1 Contender’s six-pack challenge was held featuring some of the biggest names on the brand. The match featured John Cena, AJ Styles, Bray Wyatt, Dolph Ziggler, Apollo Crews, and Baron Corbin. In the end, Dolph Ziggler picked up a big win to become the #1 contender for the WWE title at SummerSlam 2016.

A clip from the match was recently shared on Twitter, and Corbin noticed it. He responded to the clip and claimed that there was a wild story from the match between him and Cena. When he was asked to spill the tea, Corbin said he couldn't but revealed that it all started when he poked The Cenation Leader in the eye.

"Ha can’t, but i will say it all stemmed from poking him in the eye!!👁️"

Baron Corbin on John Cena giving back to the business

Last year, Corbin had a chat with Chris Van Vliet on his INSIGHT podcast. When talking about Cena, he had big praise for the veteran.

Here's what he said:

“You’re like, ‘Nah, he’s not going to come back, and if he does it’s going to be Roman or it’s going to be Seth.’ John is so giving back to this industry to this business because he loves it with every bit of what he does,” Corbin said. “Now he’s passing it on to guys like Grayson Waller and stepping in the ring with Solo and all these guys are getting an opportunity to be in there with greatness.” [H/T WrestlingInc]

John Cena's last big match was a loss to The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa at last year's Crown Jewel event in Saudi Arabia. Many fans want him to have another world title run and break Ric Flair's record of 16 world titles in the process.
