WWE star Sonya Deville breaks silence after missing Mandy Rose's wedding
Sonya Deville has broken her silence after missing former WWE star Mandy Rose's wedding this past Saturday (November 2). Rose got married to fellow former WWE star Tino Sabbatelli at the Park Chateau Estate and Gardens in New Jersey.
Deville and Rose first met on the sixth season of Tough Enough, where they were two of the 14 finalists. They didn't win the competition but impressed the Stamford-based company enough to be signed to a developmental deal. They would later be a part of Saraya's (FKA Paige) Absolution on the main roster before becoming Fire and Desire.
In a post on her Instagram stories, the former WWE Women's Tag Team Champion shared a wedding photo of Rose and Sabbatelli. She wrote a message for the newly married couple and wished them a lifetime of happiness. The RAW Superstar was unable to attend the wedding because she was in Saudi Arabia for Crown Jewel.
"Congratulations to my friends. I wish I could have been there for your special day, but I love you both, and I'm so happy for you. To a lifetime of memories and love," Deville wrote.
Sonya Deville was present at Mandy Rose's bridal shower back in September, so it's a little bit unfortunate that she was unable to attend the wedding. Rose was at Deville's wedding to Toni Cassano last February.
Mandy Rose reflects on her wedding with Tino Sabbatelli
Speaking to People magazine, Mandy Rose was asked about the importance of her wedding to Tino Sabbatelli. Rose said that people in the business knew that they had some problems during their relationship, but the two worked it out since they were meant for each other.
"Sabby and I have been through a lot together, and many of our family and friends over at WWE know firsthand [that] we had a lot of trials and tribulations. But God knew that we belonged together, so in the end it was destined, and I know it sounds cliché, but everything happens for a reason," Rose said.
Rose and Sabbatelli started dating in 2018 when they were still both signed to WWE. Mandy was on the main roster, and Sabbatelli was on developmental. They got engaged in September 2022 and got married more than two years later.
