WWE star takes a dig at Finn Bálor following real-life family business reveal

Finn Bálor's work in the wrestling business was popular among indie fans long before his arrival at WWE. He is a founding member and the original leader of Bullet Club in Japan. Since joining World Wrestling Entertainment, Bálor has become a notable figure to a wider audience. He etched his name in the history books as the inaugural Universal Champion, too.

On Instagram today, The Prince gave fans a glimpse into his real-life family business in Ireland.

Finn Bálor, real name Fergal Devitt, comes from a family who has a legacy of working in the Dublin Area Rapid Transit (DART). The Devitt family has worked in rail transport for generations, and now his siblings continue the legacy. His sister, Ann-Marie Devitt, is now the first female DART driver.

"Family Business," wrote Finn Bálor.

The aforementioned reel prompted fellow Judgment Day stablemate JD McDonagh, with whom Bálor presently holds the World Tag Team Championship, to call him the "let down" of his family:

"And look at you. The let down of the family. I'm sure your dad had high hopes. 😔," wrote JD McDonagh.

The duo headlined WWE's flagship show this past Monday, where they lost a tag team contest to Jey Uso and Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn. As of this writing, the champions are not booked for SummerSlam on August 3.

Finn Bálor is booked to face Damian Priest's SummerSlam challenger on WWE RAW

Although World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest has made changes to his approach towards winning matches since being coronated at WrestleMania XL, The Judgment Day finds a way to meddle in his business.

Next week on Monday Night RAW, only a few days before The Biggest Party of the Summer, Finn Bálor will receive an opportunity to take down Gunther. Many among the WWE Universe are convinced that The Ring General is destined to dethrone Priest.

This puts Bálor in an interesting position, as the latter has been giving subtle hints at his growing issues with The Archer of Infamy.

Breaking character recently, The Prince admitted that Gunther intrigues him from an in-ring perspective. Given their credentials, a match between the two men is a no-brainer, provided WWE gives them time to put on a competitive showing.
