WWE Superstar Big E shares positive health update 27 months after last match

WWE star Big E has shared a positive health update today on social media. The former WWE Champion has not competed in a match since the March 11, 2022 edition of SmackDown.

Sheamus and Ridge Holland of the now-disbanded Brawling Brutes faced The New Day's Big E and Kofi Kingston on the March 11, 2022 edition of blue brand. During the match, Holland went for a move outside the ring but it did not go as planned. The former WWE Champion landed on his head and suffered a broken neck. He has not returned to the ring since the incident but provided fans with a health update today on social media a month after undergoing stem cell treatment.

"I feel great, it is something I highly recommend. I didn't have any issues with pain, so I have noticed a change there. But I am excited to see how the stem cells percolate inside of my body and the work that they do. But I feel great and I am really excited about it. It is something that I have learned about over the past couple of years and has done wonderful things for so many people. So yeah, I'll update you all as these months proceed and let you know how the body is doing," he said.

Big E claims it is an interesting time for The New Day on WWE RAW

Big E is a member of The New Day but recently noted that his stablemates are dealing with a difficult time on WWE RAW.

Karrion Kross and The Final Testament faction have been trying to convince Xavier Woods that Kofi Kingston is holding him back in The New Day. In an interview with Chris Vannini on the Getting Over: Wrestling Podcast, the former WWE Champion stated that Woods and Kingston are his brothers for life. However, the veteran added that the faction appears to be at a crossroads during their ongoing storyline on WWE RAW.

"Yeah, you know, obviously those are my brothers for life. There is a bit of a crux. Like, we have spent so much time at the top of the tag team division. Kofi [Kingston] being World Champion, I got an opportunity to be World Champion, and [Xavier] Woods is King of the Ring. After the run in the NXT, I feel like now, where do we fit here? I feel like it's a bit of a crossroads for them figuring out what they want to do," Big E said. [From 1:14:43 to 1:15:12]

Big E has been making appearances for the company during his hiatus from the ring. It will be interesting to see if the 38-year-old ever returns to the squared circle sometime down the line.
