WWE Superstar jokingly takes a dig at Bron Breakker for in-ring botch (Exclusive)
Bron Breakker is among the most explosive performers in WWE today. While many are fond of his in-ring work, Breakker's long-time rival jokingly took a dig at him after a nasty botch.
At NXT Vengeance Day, Bron Breakker teamed up with Baron Corbin to take on Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams. While running the ropes in his usual style, the second-generation star's head got caught in the top cable for a second. Breakker thankfully avoided a scary injury and proceeded to deliver a stellar match.
In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Senior Editor Bill Apter, Carmelo Hayes discussed the strengths and weaknesses of Bron Breakker.
"Well, his strength is his strength. His weakness is sometimes maybe he is too fast, and those ropes will get him [on being asked about Bron Breakker's Spear]. Feels like a car crash coming at ya. Short, burst, breath goes out, one, two, three." [2:30 onwards]
WWE Superstar Carmelo Hayes also talked about his fierce rival Trick Williams
According to Carmelo Hayes, Trick Williams is not at his level yet by any means. While Williams came out on top in his feud with Melo, the latter believes he has a long way to go in his career.
In the same interview with Bill Apter, Hayes said Williams didn't have the same equity as him in WWE.
"Strengths, personality. Weaknesses, not as good as me... It's just time in the game, you know what I mean. It's just the hours that I have put into this. When you put in so much time you know you have kind of that equity to ya. I am not saying he's not gonna get it, he just doesn't have the same equity that I have." [1:54 onwards]
Carmelo Hayes is seemingly headed to the main roster after a great feud with the former North American Champion. Meanwhile, Williams looks ready to become the face of NXT's men's division.
