WWE Superstar returns to the ring 258 days after last match

WWE Superstars are often kept out of the ring for various health-related reasons while continuing to work non-physical roles in the storylines. Today, the company ran two crews in Ireland and Saudi Arabia to wrap up Crown Jewel weekend. A familiar face returned to the ring for what was her second match of this year. This would be B-Fab.

Briana Brandy participated in a WWE tryout in 2017 and then signed a developmental contract on August 28, 2019. Re-packaged as B-Fab, she made her appearance on the May 11, 2021, episode of NXT alongside Hit Row but was released in November 2021. She was then re-hired in August 2022.

Until this evening, B-Fab's last in-ring action was during the Elimination Chamber Qualifying Last Chance Battle Royal on the February 19 RAW. She was the sixth elimination, tossed out by Zoey Stark and Shayna Baszler with no eliminations of her own. Her status changed with a surprise appearance on the company's ongoing tour.

The 33-year-old made her in-ring return at today's non-televised WWE live event from the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland, only 258 days after her first match of this year. B-Fab teamed with Michin to defeat Chelsea Green and Piper Niven. The match went just over nine minutes.

B-Fab's ring return came as an impromptu match right after The Street Profits came up short against The Bloodline 2.0. B-Fab has continued to manage Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins following the disbanding of The Pride due to Bobby Lashley's departure.

B-Fab teamed up with AEW star for WWE debut

B-Fab used her real name, Briana Brandy, until the end of her run on NXT. She made her in-ring debut on December 5, 2019, at the non-televised NXT live event in Jacksonville, FL. She teamed with Taynara to defeat Rita Reis and Catalina Garcia.

Taynara is now known as AEW's Tay Melo, who has been on maternity leave after welcoming her first child with Sammy Guevara. Brandy and Taynara lost the rematch one night later. B-Fab never worked with Melo again, but she did work twice with AEW's Deonna Purrazzo.

B-Fab's current WWE record is five wins, thirteen losses, and one draw. Her most frequent opponents are Natalya and Zelina Vega, with five matches each.
