WWE Superstar out for revenge in newly-announced SmackDown match

WWE Superstars are coming out of the 37th annual SummerSlam PLE with significant momentum for the second half of the year. In a bit of a grudge match, one superstar will be out for revenge in a newly announced contest that has potential championship implications.

The Unholy Union dethroned Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair of the WWE Women's Tag Team Championship in mid-June at Clash of the Castle: Scotland. Cargill and Belair received their rematch last Friday, but Blair Davenport spoiled the title change by linking up with Dawn and Fyre. Belair and Cargill were then triple-teamed by the heel stars.

WWE has now announced Big Jade vs. The Hardcore Daredevil for tonight's SmackDown episode. This will be the first-ever singles bout between the two.

"Jade Cargill will battle WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion Alba Fyre in what is sure to be a hotly contested matchup. Cargill and Belair challenged Fyre and Isla Dawn for their title in a recent match, but Blair Davenport interfered and seemed to align herself with The Unholy Union, who retained. Can Cargill get her team another championship opportunity, or will the numbers game once again help the champions? Find out TONIGHT at 8/7 C on FOX," reads the official preview.
