WWE Superstar Rhea Ripley likes an interesting post amid injury hiatus

WWE Superstar Rhea Ripley recently suffered an injury courtesy of an attack from Liv Morgan. Interestingly, Mami recently liked an interesting post explaining her injury amid her hiatus.

PWInsider's Mike Johnson had reported that Ripley had fractured her right orbital socket when she had headbutted Morgan on the October 21, 2024, episode of RAW. The same was confirmed by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. However, Mami has hinted that this was not what happened.

Posting their theory on how the former Women's World Champion got injured, a fan on X/Twitter said that the headbutt was not the cause of Mami's injury. Instead, the fan said that a double-knee Codebreaker delivered by Morgan was the more probable cause of it. Interestingly, Rhea liked this tweet, hinting that the fan’s theory is true instead of the reports.

Below is the video of the Codebreaker delivered by Morgan that potentially injured Ripley:

WWE Superstar Rhea Ripley is still not backing down

Rhea Ripley was ambushed by Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez on last week’s episode of NXT when she appeared on the developmental brand to meet Zaria. The Judgment Day duo had attacked Mami with baseball bats in the parking lot, leaving her busted open.

While this was WWE's way to write The Eradicator off the show, she is showing extreme resilience even now. Rhea had previously said that Morgan would need to kill her to stop her. Doubling down on her statement, Ripley added a tweet on X/Twitter:

"Mistake no.1 You left me breathing."

As Mami recovers from her injury, Liv has gone on to become the inaugural WWE Women's Crown Jewel Champion.

It would be interesting to see when Rhea makes a comeback and challenges The Judgment Day member for the Women's World Championship again.
