LA Knight pitched several ideas for WrestleMania 41
LA Knight has discussed multiple ideas for WrestleMania 41, one being the possibility of a match against John Cena.
Speaking to Beef Vegan on Rock 102.1, Knight also discussed the idea of him facing Gunther in a Champion vs. Champion match. The Ring General is the reigning WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Knight said:
"Man, there’s so many different ways you can go. I mean, I look at the fact that WrestleMania’s gonna be John Cena’s last WrestleMania. Could it be me against John Cena for that United States Championship? I don’t know. Will I even be the United States Champion by then? It could be. If I was gonna fantasy book, I would probably do a title vs. title, me vs. Cody, or maybe even me vs. Gunther. I’m looking for the champions. I want the world championship, I want the WWE Championship, and so for me, again, it’s always that progression."
At SummerSlam, The Megastar won the United States Championship. He defeated Logan Paul to win the title and has successfully defended it on a few occasions on SmackDown. Crown Jewel will mark Knight's first title defense on a premium live event.
