WWE Superstar shares update after major heel turn and apparent split with his partner on SmackDown

On this week's WWE SmackDown, a 39-year-old star turned heel. The name in question is Tommaso Ciampa.

The Motor City Machine Guns (Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin) put their WWE Tag Team Championship on the line against The Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford). Ciampa was unhappy about the fact that The Profits got a title shot to face The Guns before DIY (Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa).

The Blackheart made a shocking appearance during the Tag Team Championship match and assaulted The Street Profits. Unfortunately, the match ended in No Contest.

Things went south when Johnny Gargano came to the ring to stop his tag team partner, but the latter shoved Gargano. The 39-year-old star then walked away in anger and screamed that he wanted a shot at the Tag Titles. Later, Gargano followed him, hoping to solve the tension between them.

On Instagram, The Psycho Killer shared a picture from SmackDown when he pushed the other half of DIY. But he did not add a caption.

Tommaso Ciampa jokingly puts WWE legend on notice

In the past few months, The Blackheart on social media has been trying to deliver an RKO to Randy Orton. However, Ciampa has repeatedly failed in his mission.

During an interview with TV Insider, the former WWE Tag Team Champion was asked about his pranks on The Viper. Tommaso Ciampa stated that he was not done with Randy Orton and issued a warning to the 14-time World Champion.

"It’s not finished yet until he is dead. I’m coming for you 'Legend Killer!' I’m coming for you," he said.

The Stamford-based promotion is yet to officially announce the split of DIY. Whether or not Triple H and Creative have plans to keep Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano together on television or give them singles run remains to be seen.
