WWE Superstar further tries to instigate issues between Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano after WWE SmackDown

On the latest edition of WWE SmackDown, DIY lost to the Motor City Machine Guns after a miscommunication between Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano. After the defeat, Ciampa and Gargano briefly argued about the costly mix-up. Taking to Instagram, Grayson Waller tried further instigating issues between the popular duo.

During the 2024 WWE Draft, DIY was drafted to SmackDown. In July, they defeated A-Town Down Under (Waller and Austin Theory) to win the WWE Tag Team Championship. After a successful title defense against Waller and Theory, they were attacked by The Bloodline. On August 2, DIY lost the gold to Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga, who ended the tandem's reign after 28 days.

On last week's SmackDown, DIY lost a number one contenders match to the Motor City Machine Guns. During the bout's closing moments, Gargano accidentally kicked Ciampa, leading to tension between both superstars.

On Instagram, Ciampa posted a photo of the sequence, which led to Waller trying his best to cause further issues between the former champions.

"He was bragging in the locker room about how hard he kicked you," wrote Waller.

Tommaso Ciampa explained a major change under Triple H

Tommaso Ciampa recently opened up about WWE Superstars transitioning from NXT to the main roster. For those unaware, The Blackheart enjoyed much success in the company's third brand before joining RAW in 2022.

On The Battleground Podcast, the former tag team champion said there was better communication between NXT and the main roster under Triple H's regime.

"I think we'll see a little less of that just because there's a lot more communication between the two brands now. I don't think that when Trick Williams comes up to RAW or SmackDown, he's not gonna be repackaged. They're gonna have to educate the crowd on who he is but he's gonna give you the same Trick Williams you've been getting."
