WWE Tag Team Champions tease recruiting a new member
The WWE Draft is set to take place by the end of this month. Ahead of the roster shake-up, newly crowned Tag Team Champions A-Town Down Under recently teased recruiting NXT Superstar Baron Corbin to their team.
A-Town Down Under became the new WWE Tag Team Champions after Grayson Waller retrieved one set of the tag titles hanging above the ring during the six-pack ladder match at WrestleMania XL. R-Truth grabbed the other set, which was replaced by the new World Tag Team Championship earlier this week on RAW.
On the most recent edition of WWE's The Bump, Austin Theory asked Big E to name a superstar they should add to form a group. The former World Champion responded by naming Baron Corbin.
Waller and Theory were excited about the idea, and The Moment Maker asked the former Money in the Bank winner to get drafted to their brand:
"I'm in. I think that would be fun. Isn't he a Wolf Dog now, though? Get drafted with us, Corbin. See what happens," said Waller. [From 1:03:35 to 1:03:51]

Baron Corbin opens up about retiring WWE Hall of Famer at WrestleMania
Kurt Angle is one of the most decorated in-ring performers in professional wrestling. The WWE Hall of Famer has won several titles across multiple promotions. The 55-year-old lost to Baron Corbin in his last-ever wrestling match at WrestleMania 35.
Speaking to Chris Van Vliet, the former United States Champion stated he was surprised when he found out that he was going to beat Angle in the latter's retirement match. Corbin further claimed that he would have been okay with losing to the Olympic gold medalist at The Showcase of the Immortals:
"They're like, 'Hey, man, you're going over,' and I was like, huh? Can you say that one more time? And like, for Kurt to do that, like he could have said no. I would have respected Kurt, for that would have made sense. It would have been, you know, I would not have been any bit upset for that. Like I'm working Kurt Angle at WrestleMania. A guy who was in the Hall of Fame, a guy who has a gold medal, a guy who has been in the ring with every superstar you can imagine, from Taker to Brock to me, just the list goes on and on and on. And I'm having a singles match at WrestleMania with this person," he said.
Baron Corbin's Wolf Dog's teammate, Bron Breakker, defeated Cameron Grimes on SmackDown last week after bidding farewell to NXT. It remains to be seen if the former Money In The Bank winner will follow suit.
