WWE unveils brand new championship ahead of upcoming Premium Live Event

A new championship has been unveiled in WWE before an upcoming Premium Live Event. On the latest episode of NXT, Sexyy Red made her first appearance and revealed the design of the new NXT Women's North American Championship.

In less than two weeks, the inaugural champion will be crowned at WWE NXT Battleground on June 9. Sol Ruca, Lash Legend, Fallon Henley, Jaida Parker, Michin, and another superstar will compete in a ladder match with the title on the line.

WWE NXT General Manager Ava opened the show and introduced famous rapper Sexyy Red. She danced to the ring and announced that she would be hosting the Battleground Premium Live Event in Las Vegas. Ava asked for a drum roll, and Sexyy Red unveiled the NXT Women's North American Championship.

The belt is identical to the men's one, but the strap is white, and the center plate is gold and red. The rapper started dancing with the belt, but Tatum Paxley came out of nowhere and tried to grab it. The two women had a tug-of-war over the belt until Michin came out and attacked Paxley. They had a match, and The HBIC won.
