WWE veteran breaks silence after R-Truth undergoes major appearance change on RAW (Exclusive)

R-Truth shocked the WWE Universe on RAW as he underwent a major appearance change. Wrestling veteran Vince Russo shared his thoughts on the same during his appearance on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW.

R-Truth, now going by his real-life name, Ron Killings, addressed the crowd on RAW after making his return to WWE at Money in the Bank. The former 24/7 Champion noted that the truth has set him free and asked everyone to put more respect on his name. He then proceeded to cut his dreadlocks, indicating a major shift in his character.

During his conversation with the show host, Dr. Chris Featherstone, Vince Russo noted that his mind kept thinking that the dreadlocks were hair extensions. The former WWE writer also felt that the company failed to capitalize on the ''meat on the bone'' with the segment:

"I just kept thinking, like, ‘Bro, those are probably extensions.’ That’s all I could think about. Like, ‘Okay, bro, he’s cutting hair extensions.’ But again, there was so much meat on the bone, and they missed it. They’ve absolutely missed it." [From 44:35 onwards]

Earlier this month, R-Truth revealed on social media that he was being let go by the company. However, a major backlash from fans seemingly forced TKO and the Stamford-based company to pivot and bring back the former United States Champion.
