WWE veteran intrigued about the future as Motor City Machine Guns get into heated rivalry with current champs (Exclusive)
Former WWE manager Dutch Mantell recently spoke about #DIY setting a perfect trap for The Motor City Machine Guns. Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa are the current WWE Tag Team Champions they dethroned Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley last week.
This week, Gargano and Ciampa cut a promo about how they were robbed of their titles. They mentioned that Sabin and Shelley came out of nowhere and took away the gold.
During this week's Smack Talk, Mantell mentioned that he wasn’t a big fan of #DIY or The Motor City Machine Guns. However, he respected their brand of work. The veteran writer felt that the angle was a good step to getting fan attention. He was curious about what lies ahead for the two tandems.
"Well, it got them to another phase of this. I'm not a real big fan of #DIY. But they're a good team. As far as their wrestling ability is concerned, they're top-notch. For Sabin and that team, Motor City Machine Guns, again a great team. Not a lot of personality in either of these teams. They're not super big, they just depend on their moves. Let's see where the story goes. I think this was a good step in the direction to get it started. Now they have eyeballs on them, let's see what they do." [From 15:56 to 16:37]
